I recently did some testing of browser tabs and wound up opening 100 links to a Chevy Spark for sale. My ad feed is now convinced I love Chevy Sparks and I have been seeing a lot of this:

No SR20, but CarGurus recently served me up an ad with a new BMW i8 and a $3000 used Buick right next to each other.

I spent a few months looking for OEM parts for my e28 so ever since, I’ve been getting ads for “Performance e30 Parts” and the ad has a picture of an e28 with blurred wheels and background to make it look like it’s going fast.

Is there even any interchangability between e30 and e28 parts?

To me it’s not that surprising because of the 80's, but there is surprisingly a lot of parts shared between the e28 and e30, especially with internals such as window motors, lights, odo gears. Luckily these things can be cheap because they are plentiful.
